AVIC’s Executive VP met with Nepal’s prime minister

On the afternoon of February 7, on the occasion of AVIC’s delivery of two aircraft to Nepal Airlines, AVIC’s Executive Vice President Gao Jianshe, together with his delegation, met with Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda in Kathmandu. He expressed his gratitude for the Nepalese Government’s concern and support to AVIC.

Mr. Prachanda said that what he cares most was to build up a land and air transportation system that links up the east and west of Nepal. It is his responsibility to promote the aviation and railway cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Gao thanked Pranchada for this. He said that the China-Nepal’s aircraft cooperation was successful just because of His Excellency the Prime Minister’s concern and great promotion, and that it has seen a new improvement. He also said that tomorrow AVIC would deliver the third and fourth aircraft to Nepal Airlines. AVIC will guarantee the normal operation of those aircraft so as to contribute to promoting the Nepal’s economy and the people’s life. He also expected a broader cooperation with Nepal.
