On July 5, AC312E, a light twin-engine helicopter developed by Avicopter, completed CAAC T5 testing, which is a pilot rating test essential for wrap up the work of Aircraft Evaluation Group from CAAC.
AEG evaluation is a prerequisite for civil aircraft to enter into operation, while T5 testing is a key part of it.
The test will evaluate the training course and operational document by training seed pilots and CAAC test pilot for the type, so as to determine the aircraft type rate and training standards.
The T5 test began on June 17 with pilots from CAAC, pioneer operator and Avicopter. Totally, 9 pilots accumulated 90 flight hours, including five subjects such as instrument flight, take-off and landing, and flight at night.
