In November, an AC312E helicopter underwent flight test mission for scientific research adjustment and airworthiness at Jiansanjiang airport. The helicopter is supposed to be delivered to China Aero Geophysical Survey and Remote Sensing Center for Land and Resources (AGRS), a subsidiary of China Geological Survey.
The AC312E has conducted 38 test flights, more than 50 flight hours accumulated since this July. During the test flight, the helicopter was equipped with magnetic probe rod, crystal box and its rack, camera and other equipment. During the four-month flight campaign, the helicopter carried out missions including platform adjustment, scientific research of automatic flight control system, sand filter system airworthiness validation, validation of performance, steerability characteristics, and vibration.
The AC312E will conduct high-definition airborne geology prospecting, airborne survey and applied research with remote sensing systems in various types of area.
