On March 27th, the first MA700 prototype was transferred to the stress test service agency at Xi’an, marking a major milestone for the MA700 program, and major achievement by the program team recovered from COVID-19 impact and Spring Festival holiday.
In the past 50 days, the MA700 team made positive human resource arrangements and special communication with partners to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on the program, based on detailed risk assessment and protection plan.
MA700 is a next-generation turboprop regional aircraft developed by AVIC.
The prototype transfer kicked-off key test campaign, the next stage of the program.
Mr. Qiu Tao, the director of China Civil Aviation Airworthiness Certification Center at Xi’an, witnessed the transfer.
